AAT Leads MIS Consultancy for P9 Billion, World Bank-Funded GMA Flagship Poverty Alleviation KALAHI-CIDSS DSWD Project

Last August 2002, Asia Allied Technologies (AAT) through its President/CEO, Ito Jimenez, was appointed the lead MIS consultant for the P9 Billion, World-Bank Funded, GMA flagship poverty alleviation, KALAHI-CIDSS project of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The KALAHI-CIDSS -- or the KApit bisig LAban sa kaHIrapan: Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services: Kapangyarihan at Kaunlaran sa Barangay: Pagtulungan Natin --- is an improved, multi-sectoral, multi-stakeholder, community-based poverty reduction project, targeting 5,152 barangays in 191 municipalities of 40 provinces where incidence of poverty is above 30%. Asia Allied Technologies is nearing full deployment of a comprehensive, web-based, information solution for an environment non-government organization (NGO) working towards biodiversity conservation nationwide.

The Foundation for the Philippine Environment (FPE) contracted out to Asia Allied Technologies the designing, coding, manualization, user training, hosting and back-end server co-location of its end-to-end information system known as the Project Development, Monitoring and Evaluation Information System (PDME-IS).
